Ceiba Tree



Manabi province in Ecuador is is a great place to see the big and majestic Ceiba tree. It is also called the Kapok. They are plentiful around the town of Jipijapa. This beautiful and sacred tree of the Mayan Culture is easily identified as it stands out in the tropical and dry forests of Ecuador. You can see from the picture that it is easy to pick it out while you are travelling around Ecuador.
